lore: The story so far.
Lenore grew up in the Atoel village of Golmore. The daughter of a Wood-Warder and Salve-Maker, she followed in her mother's and foremother's footsteps. During her training, they discovered the young woman had a natural affinity to magicks and a keen mind, granting her easy recall of potions, poultices, and balms.As she matured her role within her tribe expanded to include the care of the direly ill, and the venerable, as well as the delivery of kits.During this time of peace in the woman's life she flourished. She was a successful Salve-maker, a sister, an aunt, and eventually became a mother to two sons who have both survived into adulthood.However, this time of peace would prove itself to be fleeting. Wood-warders and Hunters from her tribe and other surrounding tribes were going missing. The Wood wept for her missing sons and daughters. Her lament heralded the drums of war to which Lenore answered the call by joining Lente's Tears. Exile by choice to keep her tribe safe.
When the smoke had cleared mercenaries and freedom fighters alike went their separate ways leaving the Viera exiled and adrift with no home, family, or coin.Selling what meager possessions she had, the Viera made for the closest land away from the war-torn fields she had called home for many months, eventually making landfall in the Far-Eastern Land of Kugane.During her time in Kugane, Lenore served as a courtesan in one of the many pleasure houses that line the port city's Red Lantern district. She trained in the art of tea ceremony, music, dance, story-telling, and carnal pleasure.When she parted ways with the jewel of the Far East, she traveled the star working as a mercenary or healer wherever work could be found. She has worked for a few pleasure houses, bars, clubs, and speakeasies. Most recently, she has been acting as a medic for the pit-fighters who find themselves in Shady's pits or running wild with her dashing partner.
